After Bluebird Transitions, LLC, gets your call, we schedule an appointment for an initial free consultation and walkthrough. This is a chance to tell us about your personal property needs. Are there any items that hold significance or bring up fond memories? We can locate them and set them aside. Do you have numerous items that are no longer needed? We can hold an estate sale, or donate to charity, or do a combination of both. We then set up a timeline that works with your schedule. We will deal with your treasured possessions in a professional and caring way.
This is the last thing that you will have to deal with until the job is done. We have a cadre of experienced professionals on staff. No one person is good at everything, so we draw in many people to contribute in their areas of expertise and it all comes together in a flawless transition for you or your loved one. Our experts include an antiques expert, an esate sale company, a handyman, a Realtor, a housepainter, movers, as well as Sarah and her assistants who organize and physically execute the work.
The services we offer include, but are not limited, to:
- Estate Liquidation — We advise you as to whether an estate sale or auction is warranted and, if it is, we oversee the sale or auctioning of items. We can help you sort through a lifetime of possessions and identify precious heirlooms and antiques for beneficiaries.
- Content Removal — Especially helpful for out-of-state family members or if a home needs emptying in preparation for a Realtor. Bluebird can usually clear out the average home in 18-36 hours in a total turnkey operation. The family goes through and removes anything they want, then Bluebird staff clears out the rest of the house, cleaning out closets, drawers, and garages and other outbuildings. You don't need to be personally involved and this service wll bring you peace of mind.
- Packing and Moving — Don't stress over a move — just leave the details to us; we can properly pack your possessions for a move or storage. We can coordinate the moving company or a POD or a storage unit.
- Estate Sale and/or Donation — We can manage the sale and/or donation of the items on your estate, we work in tandem with only the gbest and most trustworthy of estate sale companies and charities. Bluebird Transitons, LLC, is a member of The American Society of Estate Liquidators (ASEL) and adheres to the national standard for the sale and removal of items.
- Estate Repair — We can get your home ready for market. This can include painting the interior and/or exteror of the house, replacing flooring or carpeting, repairing plumbing, doing carpentry repairs, replacing toilets, and in general, doing whatever needed to increase the home's market value.
- Senior Relocation — We manage a senior's relocation with efficiency and compassion. We sort and pack boxes, hire and coordinate movers, unpack boxes, and set up the new home. We can appraise and sell antiques, paint and repair the residence, and even contact a trusted Realtor friend to list the house.
