After Bluebird Transitions, LLC, gets your call, we will schedule an appointment for a walkthrough of the house. This way you can tell us if there are any items that hold significance or bring up fond memories. We then draw up a plan on what needs to be done and set a date for finishing.
This is the last thing that you will have to deal with until the job is done. We have a cadre of experienced professionals on staff. No one person is good at everything, so we get many people to contribute in their area of expertise and it all comes together in a flawless move for you or your loved one. Our experts include a handyman, a realtor, a housepainter, and movers, as well as Sarah and her staff who organize and physically execute the work.
The services we offer include, but are not limited, to:
- ESTATE LIQUIDATION We walk through the house with you and advise as to the Fabulous Four: What should be kept; what should be given to loved ones as pieces of sentimental value or donated to your favorite charity; what should be sold; and what should be recycled. Bluebird Transitions, LLC, is an associate of the American Society of Estate Liquidators (ASEL) and therefore qualified to hold an estate sale if that is best. We carry out total residential content removal and can paint and repair if desired. We can also contact our trusted realtor colleague to list the house. We believe in one-stop shopping for our clients; we take care of all the work and all the worry.
- SENIOR RELOCATION We can manage an older adult's relocation. We will work with the client first of all to develop and coordinate a Moving Plan. Then we organize and sort through often an entire lifetime's accumulation of "stuff" in the process of Rightsizing. Let us paint the new residence so it is fresh and welcoming for Move-in Day, or paint the house that is left to make it market-ready.
- RESIDENTIAL ORGANIZATION Perhaps you simply want to transition to a more orderly life. The best way to do that is to get part or all of your current home organized so that it is a place of refuge and peace rather than stress and frustration. Again, we meet for a walkthrough of your house and decide what needs to be done. We return to work with you (we do the work, you learn the skills) and then leave you with a laminated plan to follow. If you get organized now, but then revert to your former unorganized life in a few weeks, of what use is that money you spent?
